Duck DynastyStar Sadie Robertson Gives Update On Pregnancy After Health Scare
Sadie Robertson is getting her ducks in a row.
As the Duck Dynasty star and her husband Christian Huff prepare to welcome baby number three, Sadie—who shares Haven Belle, 23 months, and Honey James, 3, with Christian—shared insight into how she’s feeling ahead of giving birth.
“My personality tends to be like, ‘It's gonna be great, this is gonna be so awesome,’” Sadie said during her WHOA That’s Good podcast's April 16 episode, adding, “‘I can't wait, I'm so excited.’ And then I'm like, ‘Oh yeah, that is going to be really hard.’”
As the 27-year-old further explained, “That’s just part of it, there will be things we navigate and we learn. But we did the first time and then we did the second time, we'll do it the third time.”
Still, Sadie acknowledged the belief that going from two kids to three is the hardest.
“I don't know, I think zero to one was the most extreme shell shock factor,” she noted. “But two to three people say is the hardest because you're outnumbered. Then they say from that point on you're good. If you can have three, you can have as many as you want.”
Sadie also revealed how her and Christian’s daughters reacted to the news a new sibling—whose sex they have yet to reveal publicly—is on the way.
“They are thrilled, literally,” she gushed. “It's the cutest thing ever. Honey loves my belly, she's like, "Let me kiss it. I love your belly, you look so cute Mommy. Is that where the baby is?’”

To which Christian admitted, “That was a good impersonation.”
And in addition to wanting to feel the baby’s every kick, he said Honey and Haven have taken their baby excitement into the world.
“Any baby we see in public,” Christian explained, “they always want to go up to it. They're excited.”
The couple’s pregnancy update comes after Sadie shared she’d had to go to the hospital after experiencing early contractions amid a trip to Florida.

"Friday afternoon I got hit with what we think was food poisoning and it was rough," Sadie wrote on Instagram alongside a video of her baby bump April 13. "I ended up in the hospital having consistent contractions every 3 minutes for a couple of hours."
She continued, “Thankfully I got the best care in a hospital and they were able to confirm I was not in pre-term labor, just the aftermath of the food poisoning."
The Live Original ministry founder—who conceded that this particular pregnancy has been “wild”—explained why she chose to share the experience with fans.
“Instagram can’t just get all the good stuff,” she added, “we gotta have a little reality up in here! My body hurts, but I’m thankful for it.”
